Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Sign-in information: your email address when you use an email magic link or Google through our sign-in provider, along with the account information needed to sign you in.
• Farm submissions: farm name, contact name, email, town or location, categories, products and description, business phone, optional business address, photos and videos, and any website or social links you choose to share.
• Reviews: your email address, star rating, comment, and when you submitted it. We also record reports of reviews so the site owner can check them.
• Basic technical information: information such as request and error logs needed to run the site, troubleshoot problems, and protect it from misuse.

What is public, and what stays private

Approved listing content is public by design: the farm’s name, location, categories, description, business phone and address, photos and videos, and website and social links. A business address can also appear as a farm’s location on the map. New listings and seller changes wait for the owner’s review before becoming public.

Sign-in and submitter emails are never shown publicly and are never sold. Contact names and email addresses are used to manage submissions and listings. Review text and star ratings are public, with a neighbor label and first initial; reviewer emails stay private. The site owner can access private details to manage listings, reviews, and reports.

How we use your information

We use it to sign you in, connect you with your listings, review submissions and changes, publish reviews, handle reports, and manage Featured subscriptions. Our hosting, sign-in, media storage, and payment providers handle the information needed to provide those services.

If you search for an address, your search is sent to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service for suggestions or a location lookup. We also use that service to find a seller’s map location when approving their business address. “Use my current location” asks for your browser’s permission and uses your location to sort farms by distance; we don’t save it to your account. The map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap. Visiting a farm’s website or social links takes you to another service with its own privacy practices.

Payments

Stripe processes Featured payments. We never see or store your card numbers. We keep payment references and subscription status so we can activate your Featured placement, show its status, and handle cancellation.

Sign-in, cookies, and browser storage

You can sign in with a one-tap email magic link or with Google through the site’s sign-in provider. You don’t need a password for email-link sign-in.

We use necessary sign-in cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in. Browser storage also remembers which page to return you to after sign-in. We don’t use advertising trackers.

Correcting or deleting your information

Email listings@mytinyfarms.com to request a correction or deletion. We may ask you to confirm that the information or account is yours. Account deletion is handled by the site owner on request, not by a self-service button; when we fulfill an account deletion request, we also remove your listings and reviews. Tell us if you have an active Featured subscription so we can address its cancellation too.

Children

MyTinyFarms isn’t directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has shared personal information with us, email listings@mytinyfarms.com so we can remove it.
